          From the 16th September till the 1st November 2014 the Gallery Ivorypress in Madrid hosted Maya Lin's first solo exhibition in Spain, entitled Rivers and Mountains.
          The show took place in the cycle around art in relation with architecture and design that Ivorypress presents annually in Madrid each September.

          Maya Lin is an American artist and architectural designer who approaches in her works landscapes from an environmentally conscious perspective, outlining a critical reflection on the negative consequences of humankind’s carbon footprint.

          The exhibition presents works and projects produced in the past decade together with site-specific works. Factum Arte collaborated with the artist and with Ivorypress to create the works which have been produced specifically for the exhibition.
